For best results, plant in a full sun position in well-draining, average-to-fertile soil, as these plants tend to melt away in overly wet conditions. Regularly dead-heading will result in a longer bloom time, and tidying it with a light shearing after its first flush of bloom will result in a neater appearance and a higher chance of late summer/early fall blooms.

These do look like they are the same material as my pups larger one which is durable and fun for her to throw and bounce. The holes make it easy for the pups to grab and run quickly or catch in mid-air. I'm not sure how other small dogs would do but these are too small to play tug-of-war with my little girl and she is definitely not as interested in them as she is with her bigger one. I think we will donate these to animal control since I am sure they have some small dogs or cats that would appreciate these more than our picky girl lol. Still a great toy but just not the size she likes.
