Grow potatoes, tomatoes and other vegetables that benefit from deeper planters with these durable food-safe polypropylene grow bags. These grow bags make the most of limited space--they wash, fold flat, and are easy to store. They have reinforced drainage holes and strong handles, so they can be shifted, even when full of soil.

Each planter holds 40L (42 quarts) of soil and measures 35cm (14") in diameter and 45cm (18") deep. Filled bags stand approximately 45cm (18") tall. A package contains three (3) planters.

To grow potatoes, add a few inches of soil to the bottom of each bag, then place up to three seed potatoes in the bag. Add a further 3-4 inches of soil. When the plants are 12 inches tall, add another 6 inches of soil to the bags so the plants are half buried. Once they have grown another 12 inches above the soil, repeat the process until the bags are nearly full. Keep them well watered, especially in dry weather. Great activity for kids of all ages.
