The Strymon Deco turns a new page for the classic Strymon pedal. Evolving on the original, the Deco V2 introduces new controls and voicings to push the proverbial envelope for doubletracking and saturation effects. The Deco V2 loads up a host of different tonal controls for further exploration. With a Wobble control, Auto-Flange mode through the Doubletracker bypass footswitch, and Wide Stereo Mode, the doubletracking experience of the Deco V2 expands for more studio tape tinkering tone. The Tape Saturation side also gets an update with a Tone knob that adjust the Deco's tone lighter and darker. An additional Voice switch with two dedicated saturation modes unlocks a new Cassette mode for the Deco V2 that employs an auto level control process common to many high-end cassette tape recorders. The result is a fat and compressed tone with great response.
Deeper functions of the Deco V2 add routing and connection features. The Deco V2 allows for selection between true and buffered bypass switching options, line and instrument level signal output options, and stereo in and out options. All of this is topped off with full MIDI implementation for integrating the Deco into any rig.
Strymon's effect pedals become all the more exceptional with their latest V2 iterations.
